Police: Man Answering Craigslist Ad For Car Killed

HARMANS, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police say a man responding to a Craigslist ad to buy a car was shot and killed during an apparent robbery attempt.

Police found Rene Leiva-Archila, 44, of Baltimore in a parking lot in Harmans about 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Officers say he had an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body and he died at a local hospital.

Police say Leiva-Archila had arranged to meet with a man after responding to an ad on Craigslist. Officers say Leiva-Archila was interested in buying a car from the man.
