GoDaddy Founder Helps Fund U-Baltimore Vet Center

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The founder of the online company GoDaddy is helping to fund legal and mental health services for veterans at the University of Baltimore.

UB alumnus Bob Parsons is celebrating the grand opening Monday of the Bob Parsons Veterans Center. The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation donated $1 million to establish the center and the services.

Parsons is a 1975 graduate of the University of Baltimore. He is also a Marine Corps veteran who received the Purple Heart Medal for his service in Vietnam.

His company helps people register domain names on the Internet. GoDaddy also offers web hosting and web design services.
