Steve Davis: Thank You Bengals!

The Ravens owe the Bengals a big "thank you."

Sure, the Ravens get the win, but I think this is more about the Bengals losing the game.

Marvin Lewis made some very questionable coaching decisions that really backfired. Not sure why you go for it on 4th down around midfield early in the game, and it wasn't real swift to go for it in overtime considering the Ravens hadn't scored a single point offensively in the 2nd half. Why not punt them back in their own endzone and make them do something they hadn't done all game: mount a drive.

Sure, the Ravens defense played very well. I will give them that, but they were helped by how awful Andy Dalton was. It looks like Kyle Boller came back as a redhead. And, the Ravens offense, are you kidding me? Under 200 total yards, the third lowest output for a team that won in overtime in modern NFL history!

Our best play was Flacco under-throwing a wide open Torrey Smith and getting an interference call; that set up a touchdown.

On first down, the Ravens had one play in the second half that gained more than 5 yards.

This was one of the worst offensive performances in a win where you scored 2 offensive TD's that I can recall.

Thank you Cincy for losing the game.
