Only the Chiefs could fail to score an offensive touchdown and still win – and somehow put up 20 points in the process. It’s a thin line they’re walking, but they’re walking it. (Photo by Rick Stewart/Getty Images) (Photo by Rick Stewart/Getty Images)
Kevin Harlan is a play-by-play guy for CBS Sports.
Kevin joined Ed & Steve to talk about the games he has the weekend in college and in the pros.
Kevin is handling the play-by play duties for multiple games this weekend. First is a college hoops contest between UCLA and Missouri at 12:30pm on Saturday, and the other is in the NFL he’ll call the Kansas City Chiefs vs the Washington Redskins Sunday at 1pm.
Steve asked Kevin about what is going on with the Ravens. Kevin said the Ravens have dealt well with losing a lot of leadership and with losing big pieces of their Superbowl picture. Kevin also said he believes John Harbaugh has done a great job getting the Ravens to 6-6 and keeping them in the playoff discussion.
Steve asked Kevin for his thoughts on RG3. Kevin said it’s a common theme coming from teams and players who have played against Griffin this year that he is nowhere near the same player. Kevin said the big problem with the Redskins is guys who had great seasons last year have not been able to duplicate the success. Kevin also alluded to a possible rift between the coaching staff and their young QB.
