Pete Gillen is a former college basketball head coach for Xavier, Providence, and Virginia. Pete is currently a college basketball analyst for the CBS Sports Network.

Pete joined Ed & Steve to talk about the Terps and other college basketball current events.

Steve asked Pete if he is surprised by how the Terps program has gone from being a tournament lock year in and year out to being a team just hoping to make it to March madness. Pete said He is very surprised at the Terps decline because Mark Turgeon is a great coach and that he’ll get it going and the team will turn around.

Ed asked Pete if moving to the Big Ten is a good thing or a bad thing for the Terps. Pete said the move will make things even more challenging for Turgeon and the Terps as the Big Ten has become a better conference than the ACC early on this year.

Pete also threw in some NBA tidbits at the end of the interview.
