Baltimore Man Guilty Of Westminster Murder

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- A Carroll County jury has convicted a Baltimore man of felony first-degree murder in the 2010 stabbing of a Westminster man.

The Carroll County Times reported in its Friday edition that Tuson Reese, 29, was found guilty Thursday in the slaying of 40-year-old Steven Hobson.

Reese is the second defendant convicted in the case. Michael Brooks, 29, of Baltimore pleaded guilty in 2011 to felony first-degree murder in the case.

Prosecutors say the men broke into Hobson's apartment and killed him on Oct. 2, 2010. They say the men had gone to Hobson's apartment to question him about an attempted armed robbery of Reese and Hobson earlier that night in the same apartment building.
