WEATHER BLOG: Cold Air In Time For Holidays
Winter arrived on schedule Saturday, but we've been dealing with a weekend of record-setting high temps with the number topping out at 71 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday.
Some rainfall is pushing through the region associated with a cold front, but the good news is that it's not heavy (yet) and it's not cold.
Some heavier rainfall will move through after midnight, prompting a flood watch for many areas in central Maryland. Expect a rather messy morning commute Monday with the rain tapering off by the afternoon and evening. Colder air will filter in behind it just in time for the holidays!
