Police: Tow Truck Operator Stole From Cars He Towed
BROOKLYN, Md. (WJZ) -- A tow truck operator is arrested in Anne Arundel County after police say he stole things from the cars he towed.
Matthew Schaefer, 36, of Dundalk, was hired to tow vehicles on behalf of the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
But police say multiple items were stolen out of cars taken to his towing company on Belle Grove Road.
Police later seized the stolen items and charged Schaefer with theft.
