Md. Police ID 2 Killed In Crash Near Salisbury

WILLARDS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police are identifying a Salisbury couple killed in a New Year's Eve crash in Wicomico County.

Police say Robert Dickerson, 75, and Sarah Dickerson, 70, both died after the crash on Route 50 in Willards on Tuesday.

Troopers say the couple's car failed to yield and crossed the westbound lanes into the path of a van. Police say Sarah Dickerson died at the scene and Robert Dickerson was pronounced dead at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Police say the driver of the van was not injured, but a 17-year-old boy who was his passenger suffered minor injuries.
