Parents, 2 Adult Sons Arrested At Md. Party

DAMASCUS, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a couple and their two adult sons were arrested after they say officers were assaulted at a party in Damascus.

Police say officers went to a party late Saturday and saw several underage people with alcohol in the home's backyard. Authorities say the officers begin to seize a keg outside a stairwell when a struggle ensued with someone at the party.

Police say a door was slammed on the officer's arms, and a second officer trying to help was also assaulted.

George Magas, 54, Cathy Magas, 46, Nicholas Magas, 21, and Eric Magas, 18, were arrested and charged with numerous offenses, including 22 counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Police also issued civil citations to 22 party-goers.
