Clifton Brown of Comcast Sportsnet joined the Scott Garceau show today to share his thoughts on Super Bowl XLVIII and the hiring of Gary Kubiak.
Scott first asked Clifton what he thought about the Super Bowl being held in a cold environment such as the New Jersey area. “I don’t think you’re going to see it anytime soon after this…I just think most people who come to the Super Bowl would prefer a place where they can hang outside and soak in the sights.”
Later Clifton was asked his thoughts on the hiring of Gary Kubiak as the Ravens new offensive coordinator. “I think it’s a good hire for the Ravens…I think he’s at his best as a coordinator rather than head coach.” Clifton went on to say this was the perfect time for this change, “When Jim Caldwell got the job and they needed a new offensive coordinator; this was the time to wipe the slate clean, and they did that.”
