Hall Of Famer Mike Haynes Likes The Broncos To Win It All
Sports Fan Insider
Mike Haynes is a former NFL cornerback who played for the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Raiders. Mike was elected to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in 1997.
Mike joined Ed & Steve to talk about Superbowl 48 and being a prostate cancer survivior.
Steve asked Mike about what it must be like for the Seahawks preparing to go up against Peyton Manning. Mike said he is sure the Seahawks have been scouring film to try to find the tells of Peyton Manning and the Broncos Offense but that he is sure Peyton is doing the same against them.
Ed asked why is Terry Bradshaw is not looked at as one of the greatest QBs of all-time. Mike said he thinks it’s because it’s a different game now so Terry’s numbers don’t match up because it’s a pass heavy league now as opposed to relying as much on the running game. Mike then said he believes Joe Montana is the best QB of all-time and is just a winner.
Mike then gave his Superbowl pick and said that while he hates to root for the Denver Broncos, he’s an AFC guy and wants to see them win it all.
