Alex Prewitt joined the Washignton Post in 2012 to cover the University of Maryland athletics. Before Alex joined the Washington Post, he worked for the Boston Globe, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and USA Today.

Rob mentions that when someone gets sent to the locker room it means one of two things; It’s a recurring problem or the said player just needed to go cool off. Alex says that based off of talking to some people in the program, he doesn’t think that this is a recurring manner, he believes that the coach was just caught in cross-fire and Mark Turgeon had to send Mitchell to the locker room.

Rob said he understands the fire and passion that Dez Wells possesses but when he only took 7 shots against Virginia Tech. Alex agrees and said when Dez Wells distributes the ball and looks for his team mates then they Terps offense runs a lot smoother.
