4 Treated At Hospital After Fire In Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County fire officials say two residents and two firefighters were injured in a house fire in Glen Burnie.

Firefighters were called to the home on Dotson Lane early Sunday morning. Fire department spokesman Capt. Michael Pfaltzgraff says three occupants of the house were able to evacuate before firefighters arrived.

A 23-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition for smoke inhalation. A 66-year-old woman was hospitalized for minor injuries suffered when she evacuated through a window.

It took about 35 firefighters an hour to bring the fire under control. Pfaltzgraff says two firefighters were treated and released for minor injuries.

Damage from the fire was estimated at $65,000.
