Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis joined Sports Rehab with Glenn Younes and Bob Haynie to discuss Spring Training and the 2014 Orioles season.

The O’s right fielder is coming off a disappointing 2013 campaign where he batted just .271 with 10 homers and 59 RBI’s. Markakis has battled injuries the past two season. Late in the 2012 season, he suffered a broken wrist after being hit with a pitch by Yankees starter CC Sabathia. “Its been a rough couple years. Somewhere along in your career, you’re going tot have bumps. Hopefully my bumps are out of the way and I can focus on playing healthy baseball.”

The Orioles open the 2014 season on March 31st against the Boston Red Sox.
