Phil Chenier played for the Washington Bullets from 1971 until 1979 winning the 1978 NBA Championship and making the All Star Game 3 times.
Phil joins Ed and Steve to discuss the Wizards’ first playoff appearance since 2008.
Steve asks how are the Wizards going to fair against the feisty Bulls? Phil says that the Wiz won the season series 2-1 and it’ll be a very tough match up but he believes the Wizards can do it if they stay tough and don’t fall under the pressure of the playoffs.
Ed mentions that the Pacers have been playing pretty poorly and is wondering if they are an easy out this year? Phil says that even though they have been struggling as of late, they are still the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference so they did earn that and they have playoff experience so they should play better under the lights.
