Orioles Recall LHP McFarland From Triple-A Norfolk
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Orioles have recalled pitcher TJ McFarland from Triple-A Norfolk.
McFarland has posted a 1.84 ERA in three starts for Norfolk, striking out 18 while walking four.
They also announced that they have designated Steve Pearce for assignment.
The infielder/outfielder is 1-7 in three games with the Orioles this season.
