Roland clarified that the Michael Jordan quote that is being nitpicked for racism is a very old quote not anything that was said recently. Roland explained it was right after Jordan watched Roots so he was very emotional when then quote was given.

Roland also talked about how Michael has lost touch and ended friendships with a lot of people throughout his life. Roland said that Michael has great personal charm and makes you feel important but he doesn’t let anyone get in the way of what he wants.
