HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) — Three people were found dead inside a car in the parking lot of Western Heights Middle School Monday. Two of them were children.

According to police, they were called to the school for the report of an unresponsive woman and two children in a vehicle.

Police say when they opened the car, they found the woman in the front seat and two very young children in the backseat. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

There are no signs of violence and the cause of death is unknown.

The bodies will be taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Baltimore for autopsies.
