Maryland Man Shot Dead On Long Island
BALDWIN, N.Y. (AP) -- Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting outside a Long Island bar.
Nassau County police say 22-year-old Daquan Gaskin died after he was shot in the chest during a disturbance in front of Love Jones Cafe in Baldwin around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Baltimore, Maryland resident was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police say a 39-year-old man was treated and released after being shot in the leg.
