BETHESDA, Md. (WJZ) —  A Bethesda man remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Rockville Pike and Executive Boulevard.

The 24-year-old victim was crossing the southbound lanes of Rockville Pike when he was struck by a Toyota Venza. The driver of the vehicle, 57-year-old Madani Diallo, remained on scene after the collision.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to call 240-773-6620.
