Jerry Coleman: Ravens Get Escape From Drama By Escaping With Win

While the Ravens front office will be under fire for their mishandling of the Ray Rice elevator tape situation. Coach John Harbaugh was about to face questions regarding his decisions to go for it on a 4th down, instead of kicking a field goal, or using an unnecessary challenge.

But a late 32 yd Joe Flacco pass to Steve Smith in the 4th quarter set up Justin Tucker's game winning field goal of 32 yards. 23-21 Ravens prevail compliments of Tucker's 7th carer game winner.

More importantly they're 2-1 overall, and in the AFC North.

Flacco was 19-31 for 217 yards 1 td and 1 interception. While rookie running back Lorenzo Taliferro had his 1st TD and 91 yds rushing.

The bad news is that a Tight End Dennis Pitta left with a reported hip injury that could sideline him for a while. The even worse news could still be coming in light of the allegations surrounding the Rice videotape.
