O's Fans Believed Until The End

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- It's a must-win game in Kansas City. The O's are down three games to none in the American League Championship series, but fans are holding out hope that the team can turn the series around.

Gigi Barnett spoke with Orioles fans.

The weather put a damper on several outdoor watch parties, but the one at Mother's in Federal Hill is in full swing. Fans are hopeful the O's can stay in the series.

"I'm here to watch the Orioles come back so they can win tomorrow and bring the series back to Baltimore," said fan Alex Jinnah.

The O's haven't won a game against the Royals yet but a comeback is possible.

"I've been told that Red Sox did it in 2004. They came back; they were down 0-3 so hopefully the O's can do it too," said Catherine Sharpe.

Coming out on a wet Wednesday to cheer on the O's is the definition of a die-hard fan.

"I think I've seen probably 95% of the games this season so the weather's not going to stop me. I'm going to stick with them til the end," said Paul Mears.

"It would be beautiful to see. We just won the Super Bowl two years ago and to win the World Series two years later..." said Sonny Reddz.

And just what if that doesn't happen?

"They didn't expect us to go this far so even going this far is an accomplishment," said Reddz.

Fans say they are crossing their feeling and calling on every superstition they have to give their fans a boost.
