WEATHER BLOG: Warm Up Expected

Hi Everyone!

TGIF!

It is back to cold temps today, 20 degrees below normal.  But it is not snowing by the foot, and the wind chills are not at 3 degrees. AND that big warm up we expected is on the way! Tomorrow 45, Sunday 55, Monday 71!!!!!!  (Now you tell me what is the headline. Cold today or the warm up?) Heck we stay in the upper 50's on Tuesday, and Wednesday we are still close to 50.

As for rain it is likely Sunday night, and there will be spotty showers around on Monday. But it will be mild, and that is that.  No snow.  HUZZAH!

If you are headed to NOLA for the Ravens game, and a weekend of fun before game night  Monday, the weather will be pretty good except on Saturday where an 80% chance of rain/t-storms exists. As someone who lived in NOLA for almost 2 years, and worked in the French Quarter,  I can tell you there is plenty to do in New Orleans on a rainy Saturday.  For those of you who just want that "Crescent City" party and will spend  that rainy afternoon "day drinking"  may I make a suggestion. If you must roam that toilet know as Bourbon Street go have one and then head over to either Frenchman's, or Magazine Streets. They are down toward the river on the Café du Monde side. Cool clubs, and good music. Trust me. Speaking of Café du Monde go for sure. Hot beignets are really good. Touristy, yeah kinda but a lot of locals who live, and work, in "The Quarter" do go there.

TGIF everyone. Or as they say in Cajun country, (and it works for Chesapeake Bay country too).. "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" ….Translation, "Let the good times roll!"
