Police Looking For Man Charged With Witness Intimidation

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --- Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in finding a Rosedale man awaiting trial on attempted murder and witness intimidation charges.

Police are looking for 45-year-old Ronald Evans of the 900 block of Chesaco Avenue. Evans is awaiting trial on charges from an incident where he allegedly fired shots at a group of juveniles.

On June 27, Evans and another person were in the area of Rossville Boulevard and Franklin Square Drive. The two became involved in an altercation concerning an on-going dispute between two groups. During the altercation, Evans took out a gun and began firing at the group of juveniles. None of the juveniles were shot.

According to police, investigators identified Evans as the suspect and charged him with attempted first-degree murder and related charges. He was released on $100-thousand bail.

On Nov. 30, police received information that Evans had threatened to harm witnesses against him. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Evans charging him with witness intimidation.

On Dec. 5, Evans' bail was revoked and another arrest warrant was issued.

Anyone with information on Evans' whereabouts are asked to call police at 410-307-2020 or 1-866-7LOCKUP. Tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
