WEATHER BLOG: Cooling Down

HI Everybody!

Well it did get chillier..Sometimes I hate it when we get the forecast right..

Yesterday's 54 will be more like 43 today, but that is just a return to normal. It will remain breezy through tonight but generally sunny/clear, and calm. Today, tonight, tomorrow.

The weekend is not looking too bad for last minute running around. No huge issues though it will be gray most of Saturday with a bit of rain, or some light wet snow Sat night, with some sun returning for Sunday. If you have holiday party plans Sat night don't get too stressed, and certainly, CERTAINLY, do not change or cancel plans. This is not going to be a big weather event.

That's about it for the weather discussion, but right now I want to talk to you about the "weather watchers" participation you have been hearing about. I am SO on board with this. SO ON BOARD. It give us a chance to be directly in touch with your neighborhoods, and in touch directly with you. This is no BS. We will have hundreds of eyes looking at the weather, then reporting to us. During snow, or Nor'easters, (and such), this real time reporting will be priceless. And it is more than just me getting on the air and saying, "Delmar Prang in Rosedale reports…" much more.
