WEATHER BLOG: Mild Day
It was another mild day for late December! Official high today at BWI as per the National Weather Service was 60 degrees. That's a whopping 18 degrees above average for this time of year! Drizzle and light rain can be expected this evening. Rain will taper off overnight as we dry out, but the clouds will stick around with us on Monday. Monday also will not be as mild. Highs will actually be closer to seasonal values and in the mid 40s as colder air is ushered in. We will have to monitor our chances for a quick chance of snow early in the day on Tuesday. Some computer models continue to be on board with this, while other more reliable models aren't. It is worth mentioning, but even if we do get it a little snow… it won't amount to much. We will be turning much colder by New Year's Eve & New Year's Day, with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s.
