Buffalo Wild Wings Employee Under Investigation After Fire
BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ) --- The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating why an employee wouldn't listen to commands after a fire that broke out at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Bel Air on Sunday.
Deputy Fire Marshals said the employee refused to leave the scene causing an interference with firefighters being able to actively complete their duties.
According to Maryland State Fire, the fire broke out at 12:23 p.m. in the kitchen of a Buffalo Wild Wings at 5 Bel Air South Parkway.
Bel Air, Abingdon and Joppa-Magnolia fire departments responded to the scene and the fire was under control within 10 minutes.
Officials believe the fire was accidental and preliminary cause was due to a grease fire that started in a deep fryer.
The employee's behavior is under investigation.
