WEATHER BLOG: Saturday

Temperatures today will be well below normal, and factoring in the wind will make it feel even more harsh. In fact, it will feel like the single digits at times. Not as harsh on Sunday with clouds on the increase in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures
will remain below average.

A storm system will bring precipitation to the area late tomorrow night into early Monday. The best chance for a prolonged period of wintry precipitation will be well to
the north and west of I-95 corridor with primarily rain along and east of I-95. Exact amounts of snow and/or ice are uncertain and confidence right now is low. Overall this doesn't appear to be a major winter weather event, but it doesn't take much snow or ice to cause problems… especially around the time of the morning rush.

Colder Tuesday in the wake of the storm system, then slow moderation towards
the end of next week. Latest guidance keeps the storm system Thursday into early Friday offshore (for the most part).
