Lardarius Webb Recaps The 2014 Ravens Season

Ravens Cornerback Lardarius Webb joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Con and Jason La Canfora to recap Baltimore's 2014 season. Lardarius received the honor of being the Ravens Ed Block Courage Award Winner for his work in the community. Specifically the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation gives an award to a player from each NFL team who in the eyes of his teammates exemplifies a commitment to sportsmanship and courage. "It meant a lot and it really touched my heart because those guys actually really recognized and paid attention to the hardwork i put in from going through these injuries. For them to see it and recognize and honor me for it, that means a lot."

Lardarius has battled injuries throughout his career and specifically a nagging back injury this year. Webby talked about how battling previous injuries helped him make it back this year. "After going through those first injuries, the ACL and the hernia,  I was kinda already fed up with the injuries. But to get one more in an important season like this one, I was kind of hard on me. It was kind of hard getting started, but this seeason helped me a lot with what I went through, with what the defensive backs went through, the things that we were able to overcome this year throughout and the next man up injury here. This season taught us a lot especially me personally. We just have so much farther to get better and so much more room for improvement and this year was a real big step for me even though I went through the small injury, it taught me a lot about leadership."
