Ravens' Justin Forsett Named To NFL Pro Bowl
Ravens running back Justin Forsett was named to the NFL Pro bowl as a replacement for Houston Texans running back Arian Foster. Foster had to bow out due to injuries & left the Texans season finale with a hamstring injury.
Forsett had been an NFL journeyman prior to his breakout 2014 campaign with the Ravens. Forsett had been on the rosters of the Seahawks, Colts, Texans & Jaguars before landing with the Ravens.
With the release of Ray Rice & early season ineffectiveness by presumed Ravens starter Bernard Pierce, Forsett took advantage of his opportunity ranking 5th in the NFL in rushing yards (1,266) & lead the NFL in yards per carry with a 5.4 avg & scoring 8 touchdowns in the regular season.
