WEATHER BLOG: February Weather

Good evening on a really pleasant February day. Our high got all the way up to 51! Our normal is now 43, but lookout campers, more Arctic air is waiting in the wings! A cold front is poised to cross the region by early morning, bringing with it some snow showers and gusty winds and a pretty cruel windchill later tomorrow as well! The high will be reached early in the day then fall all afternoon to a low of about 13 above by Friday am. Windchills will approach zero once again by early Friday morning, so do bundle up. Warmer air will once again arrive briefly for Saturday, then another weather maker may bring rain, snow and sleet later on Sunday and into Monday! Its February!
