Threat Prompts Liberty H.S. Lockdown, 18-Year-Old Arrested
CARROLL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—An 18-year-old man was arrested after police say he caused a threat at Liberty High School on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, just before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, a threat was found written on the wall inside Liberty High School, causing a brief lockdown. Authorities say no threat was found and the lockdown was lifted at 11:00 a.m.
On Tuesday, a threat was found just before 3:00 p.m. as school was dismissing students. Authorities say no threat was found.
18-year-old Bryce Perri Washington was later arrested and transported to Central Brooking for his involvement in today's incident.
He is facing multiple charges for both threats.
