WEATHER BLOG: TGIF!!!
One more Winter day, and one day closer to Spring. Literally!!! Let me 'splain Lucy…
After this day's cold, no make that "COLD", we are going to see 5 days of Sun, and daytime temps no lower than 40, and mostly in the mid to upper 40's. On Wednesday we will move into the mid 50's!! YES!!!! And in 15 day's Spring itself! Could yesterday be the last of Wintery weather? It's possible. We will have a temp roller coaster through mid April, but as far as this snow/ice junk, most likely it's done. Or at least big impact events are.
NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN Daylight Saving Time hits this weekend. Sunday AM at 2 advance your clocks an hour. There is some really good mental relief. American's like sunlight so why not adjust time to fit our needs. (Never let real science get in the way of a sunny day.) BTW it IS "Saving Time" not "Savings Time." if you are looking to kill some time at work…SHUDDER THE THOUGHT…do a search for "Standard time history." The word "standard" is the operational one here. Congress made time "standard" across the country by an Act. It was, initially, to standardize the national railroad schedules. LEGIT! It was called "Railroad standard time." Until we had 4 time zones the time changes moved with the longitude lines. Where the actual direct rays of the Sun were. Read it, just some interesting stuff.
