Suspect Injured After Reportedly Shooting At Police

PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- A suspect has been injured after he reportedly fired at police officers.

Police were called to the 900 block of 9th Street for the report of a possibly intoxicated person with a gun. When they arrived, they found the suspect near a garage. He was later identified as John Delich.

As they approached Delich, he began pointing his gun at officers and witnesses say he fired at them. Three officers fired back.

Delich went inside his home and barricaded himself inside for about an hour. Offices were able to remove him without further incident.

Delich was taken to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries. He faces several charges including attempted second degree murder, and first and second degree assault.
