Opening (Day) Statements With Steve Melewski
Orioles insider for MASN.com, Steve Melewski, joined Vinny & Rob to break down the first week of the 2015 season for the Baltimore Orioles.
The guys talk about the expectations for the team and individual players. Steve says that Ubaldo Jimenez' status is still up in the air as a successful starter. They also discuss the larger than average number of pitchers that have been kept on the roster through the end of spring training.
Steve tells us that there could be some moves coming before first pitch today at 3:10 pm.
Jonathan Schoop has impressed Steve this offseason with his work ethic in trying to improve his game, particularly at the plate. He also explains how helpful skipper Buck Showalter can be to the younger players on the roster. O's fans rejoice, Its Opening Day!
