WEATHER BLOG: Dry May Day

Yet another dry May day across almost all areas. So far this month, at least at BWI Marshall, only less than one tenth of an inch of rain has fallen, many have only seen a trace. Even though a front will cross the area tomorrow, most if not all the moisture associated with it will have dried up by the time it gets to the mountains west of us. It will be a very warm day tomorrow as winds pick up from the west, but it will also dry out any humid air that remains in the region and temps will begin to fall by later in the afternoon as well. Much cooler and nicer conditions will be around through the end of the week! Shower threats will however be possible by later on Saturday. More on that later this week.
