WEATHER BLOG: Back to Spring

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to Spring ya'll! Yesterday my car thermometer hit 90, but OFFICIALLY we did not. BWI-M hit 89, Downtown 86. To be honest it felt good to feel very warm, and humid. Those conditions made this morning feel just great.

For the first time this season we have had a front bust a sticky air mass out of the . Walking out this morning felt like an early Spring day. And tonight with a low of 46 Thursday morning will be one of those day starts where you might be grabbing for a jacket, again. Thursday night will again feature a return to the 40's.

We will warm up nicely Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon. And we will have a pretty good run of Sun.

Let's talk about weather and events in the area. Tomorrow night is the "Dear Jerry" concert at Merriweather Post. A huge tribute to Jerry Garcia. (If you don't know about this Google it…this is a huge get for MPP. HUGE). The weather will be clear and actually cool. Preakness Day? Let's talk about it. We will have a warm front draped over the area, and there is a chance of showers late in the day. Not a lot of rain for sure but the chance exists. We do feel, though, that the bulk of any rain will be primarily North of the metro. Sunday, and event unto itself looks sunny and warm!

Overall a pretty good weekend.
