Mike Wright On Making His Major League Debut For The Orioles
Mike Wright is a pitcher for the Orioles who made his major league debut in a 3-0 win over the Angles yesterday.
Mike joined Ed and Steve to talk about making his MLB debut and what his future with the O's holds.
Mike started off by talking about what the temperature is like on cloud nine saying "it's a perfect sunny and 75." Mike talked about getting his first strike out in the MLB and having it be Mike Trout saying "It's pretty amazing because literally right before one of the guys told me you'll get a ground ball out then strike out Mike Trout." Mike then talked about the process of getting all of his family up to Baltimore and keeping them in town long enough to see him make his first career start. As for how his teammates were treating him as the game went on Mike said "the guys were all excited for me, I think the guys were as excited maybe even more excited for me to get my first win." Finally Mike talked about the difference between the level he is used to and the major leagues.
