Milk Tanker Overturns On I-70
MOUNT AIRY, Md. (AP) -- A milk tanker has overturned on eastbound Interstate 70, slowing the morning commute.
Maryland State Police say the truck was overturned around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday in the Mount Airy area and was still affecting traffic nearly two hours later.
Police say paramedics responded, but they do not have details about any injuries.
Several lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 are closed and it is also affecting westbound traffic. The cleanup is expected to last through rush hour.
