7 Rescued After Boat Capsizes in Whitehall Bay

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—Seven people were rescued on Monday after their fishing boat capsized in Whitehall Bay near Annapolis.

Police say all seven people aboard were accounted for and brought to safety.

According to authorities, officers saw the vessel in distress when they were returning from a Memorial Day wreath laying ceremony at City Dock.

The boat was towed to Sandy Point State Park.
