Baltimore Protestors Shut Down I-395 During Morning Rush Hour
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Protestors, including the Rev. Jamal H. Bryant, shut down traffic on a major roadway leading into the city.
The Maryland Transportation Authority reported that traffic was at a standstill at various exits along Interstate 395.

According to Bryant, it's a protest he had planned since at least Monday.

Bryant and other protestors walked down the highway and stopped commuters driving into Baltimore city in protest of a juvenile jail recently funded by the state. The protest comes at a time of day when many are headed into work in the city.

I-395 finally reopened around 9:30 a.m. as the crowd moved to MLK and Washington Boulevard where Baltimore city police said the group was protesting peacefully.
There is a peaceful protest at the intersection of MLK & Washington Blvd. the protestors are in the median strip at this time.

Police say the group dispersed around 10 a.m. from the area.
