2 Killed In Shootings Overnight

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- More shootings overnight in Baltimore, take the lives of two men.

Police responded to the 4100 block Grenton Avenue around 12:29 a.m. for a report of a shooting and when officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another school was reported in the 400 block Gold Street just after 2 a.m. There officers found another many was shot multiple times. Although he was transported to a local hospital, he died from his injuries.

Another non-fatal shooting was reported around 7:35 a.m. when a man with a wound to his stomach walked into a local hospital for treatment.

The victim told investigators he was sitting in his car at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Gilmor Street when he was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim then drove himself to the hospital.

So far in 2015 there have been 119 homicides and 220 non-fatal shootings.
