Ravens Hold Annual Outlet Sale Saturday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Thousands of Ravens fans hit the jackpot Saturday at the team's annual outlet sale. Huge discounts and even player-worn gear were up for grabs.

Tracey Leong has the story.

From hefty discounts on Ravens' merchandise to player-worn equipment, fans were not disappointed.

"T-shirts for my girls and apparel for my nephew and brother," said Kathe Hammond.

"Shocked I can actually wear an actual jersey worn. It's even got the hole in the jersey from the actual players," said Tyler Schwartzmen.

"A unique way for our hardcore fans to take a piece of the team home with them," said Chris Inouye, Ravens Director of Retail.

Inouye says it's the team's annual spring cleaning.

"Trying to make room for the 2015 season so we want to get rid of stuff from 2013 and 2014. Also a great service for the fans to thank the fans for all their support," Inouye said.

Fans cash in on these deals that only happen once a year.

"Racked up birthday gifts, Christmas gift," Hammond said.

From special memorabilia to apparel, Ravens fans can never have too much.

"In season, out of season, you always got to wear Ravens gear so you get it to have enough options during the time," Hammond said.

More than 3,000 fans came to the Ravens outlet sale.

If you missed this event, you will need to wait a year for their next spring cleaning event.
