WEATHER BLOG: Warm And Humid

A very warm, and humid day that brought our temperature up to 93, with a heat index of 96 degrees and a Code Orange air quality alert. Tomorrow promises to be just as warm, and perhaps even more humid. A pop up shower is possible, but very isolated. By Saturday, a front will approach, and that will be enough to generate more widespread shower and thunderstorm threats later in the day. Cooler temps will move in by Sunday, with clouds and some sun around. That Code Orange air quality alert is also in effect again Friday. Please respect the heat and drink plenty of water or stay indoors, if possible, especially if your have respiratory issues, etc.
