WEATHER BLOG: Shower, T-Storm Possible
We have a frontal boundary on top of the area right now.
There will be a shower or t-storm that pops up, but with all of the clouds around this afternoon, that activity will mainly be confined to VA where instability is greatest.
A few high clouds will be around tonight, but it will be warm and humid!
Overnight lows will only fall into the upper 60s to right around 70 degrees for most.
Sunshine is expected, at least for the first half of the day, then chances for shower and t-storms will increase by the afternoon.
The Storm Prediction Center has us on the eastern edge of a slight risk zone for severe weather with the main modes being damaging winds and isolated hail.
Any t-storm that does develop Sunday afternoon will also contain very heavy downpours.
