WEATHER BLOG: Potential For Rain & Storms

Plenty of cloud cover, shower & t-storms in the area this morning made temps slow to rise. Afternoon highs were dropped into the mid-upper 80s for today. The AM showers & t-storms have diminished, but additional showers and t-storms will be around from mid-afternoon into early tonight. Thunderstorms will bring locally heavy rains along with damaging winds. Heat and humidity sticks around into Tuesday, along with the chance for more afternoon/evening showers and t-storms. The Storm Predicition Center has us under the "slight risk" category for severe weather on Tuesday with the main threats being damaging winds and hail.
