WEATHER BLOG: Warm & Muggy
It's another warm and muggy start to the day with dew points at or above 70 degrees for most. The humidity sticks around with us throughout the afternoon. With temps on the rise to around 90 degrees, it will actually feel more like the mid/upper 90s thanks to the heat index! Showers and t-storms will also be possible this afternoon/evening out ahead of a front that will be making its way through the region. While not everyone will see a t-storm this afternoon, any storm that develops could turn strong with damaging wind gusts and torrential downpours. Things should quiet down quickly after sunset. Behind the front, drier and less humid air will move in later tonight. This will make it feel a bit more comfortable by tomorrow morning and the afternoon will be nice with highs seasonably warm and lower humidity.
