Dan Szymborski Joined Scott & Jeremy To Give His Thoughts On The AL East
ESPN's Dan Szymborski joined Scott & Jeremy today to talk some Orioles baseball along with his predictions for the AL East.
With four of the five AL East teams above .500 and the Orioles only 2 games out of first place, the guys asked Dan what he thinks it will take to win the AL East.
"You'll have to win more than 89 games to win the AL East but I don't think you have to win that many more than 89. The thing is, even though the Rays have an excellent record, like each team in the division, they have some serious flaws. That's an opportunity for any team that can take control to run away from the division."
Manny Machado is having a career year for the Orioles across the board at such a young age. Dan gave his thoughts on Machado's outstanding season. "He's a very young player who still has an incredible offensive upside and he plays gold glove defense. That really adds up the value. He doesn't even need to be an MVP slugger to be one of the best players in baseball."
