WEATHER BLOG: Summer Returns

(If we can say TGIF, should we not also say TGIS!?)

Hi Everyone,

Looks like another really good Summer day. Sunny with a high of 88. Normal is 87. But a change back to hot and humid is in the very near future.

Recently a couple of folks have said to me, "Hey Summer is almost over." Not hardly. Yeah I know July is in its waning days, and back to school shopping ads are around, but the reality is this; August ,and September, loom on the horizon . The "dog day's" are almost here. If you have lived in the Mid-Atlantic for any length of time you know to keep the, mental, baby powder close-LOL!

Starting tomorrow, and through the mid week, temps are going back to 90 or above. And the air will begin to feel, again, as close as a first cousin.
I think the heat index will easily be in the mid 90's on those days. And nature is responding..have you heard how loud the bugs are getting at night?

It's those lazy, hazy, crazy days of Summer! And they will be with us for awhile. Dress for the weather, and enjoy life in the seasonal slow lane!
